All: Thanks. I'm always glad to, er, overhear this sort of conversation. Writing dialogue has never been a strong suit with me, so I marvel that people can talk so... so... let's say interestingly, in real life.

The "He" in this case finally bagged up the item under discussion, using one of those giant green SteelSaks or whatever they're called. (He didn't want to put it in the garage unprotected from dust, mildew, etc., and it's too big to go in the storage bins with the other Christmas paraphernalia.) Alas, but the antlers protruded from the top of the bag. So he stood it upstairs next to the desk where he works. It would make for quite a conversation piece if only, y'know, all possible conversation about it hadn't already been exhausted.

Oh my, that's funny. As if you could possibly ignore the weird, waist-high structure made of woven twigs and/or sticks, with four legs, a torso, and a head from which antlers sprout.

Thanks for the morning laugh.

Ha! Recently visited friends who had a herd of these little guys - the kids had covered them in garlands of spring flowers and they looked rather lovely.
