For the record, I myself didn’t get the hair connection right away. But I was so caught up in the “storyline” and soundtrack that I quickly forgot the question. Only when she started doing the slow-mo fling-her-lustrous-locks thing did it make sense.
Jules: Loving any sign language “beyond words” is a beautiful notion.
Just out of curiosity — I don’t know if you’re still reading this thread — is there a universal sign language, which maybe depends on universal meanings rather than their language-specific expressions?
