(Although the ping-pong match and the origami unicorn tied for a close second.) marta: If it had been Kelley instead of Lynn I'd have written a check to the reCaptcha project on the spot. Darc: PERFECT point about the programming. I know it's got to be tedious and expensive to do so many 2-hour "SyFy original movies," but jeez, surely they can do better. (Remember the airliner-eating shark?) cynth: You can stop by here to see Warehouse 13 episodes online (e.g., the pilot). That is a great show, and once you mentioned it I remembered that they used the Escher staircase commercial. (Wikipedia says it'll be be back for a second season in 2010, btw.)

The football on the staircase uses the characters from the show Warehouse 13 which I can’t find anymore (on Syfy or anywhere else except on YouTube, I guess). The football is a recurring theme on the show and I liked that they incorporated it into the promo. It was a great show and one of my daughter’s friends was a writer for it.

That was pretty cool. Yes, the name change was pointless and stupid, but it was a cool promo. If their programming were the equal they’d have something. :)

I hate the SyFy name too. But the promo is great.

My recaptcha says deforest Lynn. WOuld’ve cool if it had said deforest Kelley.
