Woods & Water
(by Limestone Chorus)

I was born in a city in a garden
In a place I learn to call my own

There must be something painted in my history
That makes me want to crawl back to my home

I know my roots didn't spring up from this garden
I've traced them back once or twice before

I must say that I prefer the woods the water and the great outdoors
More than this city's got to show

Whoa the river's rush and the starch filled wind
Will guide me home
Will guide me home
Come on and take me home, home

No more clothes to pass down to a brother
No I don't want to grow old just yet

Gotta figure it out, for one reason or another
But I don't have my mind made up I guess

Whoa the river's rush and the starch filled winds will guide me home
Will guide me home
Come on and take me home, home
