Consequently, this week&#8217;s <em>whiskey river Fridays<\/em> post will most likely appear tomorrow, Saturday, to give myself time to regroup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the meantime, here&#8217;s some music for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Molly Tuttle is a young singer-songwriter in the Americana tradition, with a strong emphasis on country\/bluegrass &#8212; and, adds Wikipedia, is &#8220;noted for her flatpicking, clawhammer,<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Molly_Tuttle#cite_note-MT-fretboard-2016-1\"> <\/a><\/sup>and\u00a0crosspicking\u00a0guitar prowess.&#8221; She sings sweetly, to be sure, as you can tell even by just sampling her newest produced-during-coronavirus album of covers, <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/store.compassrecords.com\/products\/but-id-rather-be-with-you\" target=\"_blank\">&#8230;but i&#8217;d rather be with you<\/a><\/em>. (Which &#8212; if it hadn&#8217;t come from her cover of The Grateful Dead&#8217;s &#8220;Standing on the Moon,&#8221; might itself serve as a suitable made-during-coronavirus song title.) But in this number you&#8217;ll experience some of that guitar virtuosity, too.
