To wit: it was the first post here in over three years which featured commentary on music <em>without<\/em> simply embedding a YouTube video. (<a href=\"https:\/\/johnesimpson.com\/blog\/2020\/06\/weekend-poetry-music-break-the-complications-of-my-sharona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The last one<\/a>, in June 2020, was a playlist springing from research into The Knack&#8217;s &#8220;My Sharona.&#8221;)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I say, this is a fairly minor thing to anyone but me. But it feels like a milestone to me, because while we were on the road &#8212; and until I had my desktop computer set up at our new digs &#8212; I just couldn&#8217;t share music in any way other than embedded videos. (The latter often, for me anyhow, distract from the music.)
