I’ll be returning sometime over the next week with the 1974 installment of my “1970s AM-Radio Playlist<\/a>.” In the meantime, a couple of things…<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. I’ve started a Running After My Hat<\/em> spinoff, over at the Substack site<\/a>. Still trying to figure out, though, what I’m actually going to do with it… I know I don’t want to just cross-post identical content here and there, too. For the time being, anyhow, what’s there is music-focused…<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. …including a post, new as<\/a> <\/a>of today<\/a>, which asks: Can popular songs change our lives?<\/em> As you can see over there, it includes a long, 98-song playlist for your consideration and — maybe! — your listening pleasure. I didn’t choose the songs myself, and until preparing the post I didn’t even recognize many of the songs on it, but the question on which it’s based is very interesting to me.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
