Unless, that is, the reason you didn&#8217;t like the former was that it was too soft-focus or something. The <em>Monster<\/em> book definitely has a harder edge to it.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll probably also like <em>The Monster of Florence<\/em> if you have read and liked (as The Missus and I have) <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&#038;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fsearch%2F%3Fsearch-alias%3Dstripbooks%26unfiltered%3D1%26field-keywords%3D%26field-author%3Dpreston%2Bchild&#038;tag=meaandpoi-20&#038;linkCode=ur2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325\">the suspense thrillers<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=meaandpoi-20&amp;l=ur2&amp;o=1\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/> which Preston has co-authored with Lincoln Child, especially the Agent Pendergast series.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My review at The Book Book is up.
