marta, whaddaymean: I know, I know. I was sort of going along, admiring the technical skill, and sort of vaguely longing that I, too, had the resources to travel to both tropical and snowbound beaches for my work… and then I hit the last minute of the film. Aw, jeez…

P.S. Anyone who likes the video above will probably like visiting the site of its director, Kirsten Lepore. (Check out the ten-minute “Sweet Dreams” — about an ambitious and romantic cupcake.)
While there, ponder the sorts of accomplishments that you had under your belt in your early 20s… I don’t know. Maybe I’m too easily dazzled by what clever, talented young people can do, especially with the right technology in their hands.
