That was beautiful and haunting. What a powerful post. I do hope she knows how important her words are to those of us who are praying, thinking and hoping for everyone’s healing. Thanks for letting us know John.
Thanks, JES, and all your readers and commenters.
Yes, I’m back. A little bit “aerated” and a big bit sore but I’m back.
Do not underestimate yourselves — you’d be posting too…. because you know, as I do, that it’s the most fun part of your day, the part that helps you sort wheat from chaff, the part that keeps you sane. Besides, you’d know, as I do, that wonderful people were out there wondering about you and you couldn’t just leave them hanging.
Yes, JES, it’s amazing the lengths to which I will go to find more visitors………..:)

a/b: “aerated” — ha! (You knew that would crack me up.)
Funnily enough, one of the thoughts I had in the last week was about the old saw — something to the effect of “ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances.” And then I did indeed think something like, Hmm. It kinda seems that in extraordinary circumstances, maybe everyone becomes extraordinary…
And then I thought, No, wait — a/b isn’t ordinary!
I decided to stop arguing with myself at that point. Lucky you, that I didn’t quit at the breezily-dismissive stage. :)

It’s she, her voice, her very own! I don’t think I could be happier.

Nance: I know — same here. How she managed such a post, well, if anyone could do it, it’s certainly a/b. But I know it’d be outside my own limits!
