I kinda slacked off on this over the last week; my intention — granted, a vague one — had been to knock out at least three practice microfictions in that time. As things developed, though… (Even if you’ve just retired, even during a pandemic, there’s almost too much possibility with which to occupy your time!) So I’ve just drawn a new assignment out of the random-assignment-generator hat… and a result should appear here sometime between now and tomorrow noon(ish).
in the meantime, as you should definitely seen soon, other things are percolating away…
Assignment:
- Genre: suspense/thriller
- Word: promise
- Action/Subject: walking upstairs
(Yum. The act of walking upstairs almost by definition has suspense built-in; if I muff this one, I’ll be very disappointed!)
