[ADMIN: Just Testing the Mastodon Waters…]

This is a test post, following my setup of a new Mastodon account. (Lost my previous one because the server I’d joined evaporated under the strain of the tsunami of *witter evacuees.) If this post works, and gets posted to the https://mastodon.social/@runningaftermyhat account, then presumably, so will all subsequent ones (sparse on the ground though they may be).
